Fire Door Inspections

Following on from the Grenfell Inquiry (Phase 1) and the pending introduction of the Fire Safety Regulations 2022 (Enforced
from 23rd January 2023), it is recommended that frequent checks are carried out to all fire doors within residential buildings
under/over 11m in height, to ensure that doors are maintained as fit for purpose throughout the lifespan of a building. The
responsible person should conduct:

quarterly checks for all fire doors in the common parts
•
annual checks on all flat entrance doors that lead onto a building’s common parts
